Payment

Is the payment secure? Is YOUBRIO registered and licensed?


Yes! All payments are processed by fully secure payment gateways that are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) Compliant. YOUBRIO is also a fully registered and licensed Australian company that is supported by Austrade and the Australian Government.




How do I pay for lessons? What are the payment methods available?


To pay for lessons, first deposit money into your YOUBRIO wallet. This can be done by Mastercard/Visa/Amex, PayPal or AliPay. The lesson fees will be automatically withdrawn once you have booked a lesson.




Where can I see the money I have deposited?


You can see the deposited money in your YOUBRIO wallet.




Can I withdraw my money?


We do not offer refunds or withdrawals in accordance to the Anti-Money Laundering Policy. However you may be eligible for a refund minus a processing fee, if you had to cancel due to extenuating circumstances.




Is there platform or tax charges?


When teachers conduct lessons on YOUBRIO with their own students, it is complete FREE of any platform charges. YOUBRIO platform charges will only apply when the student is referred by YOUBRIO or users on YOUBRIO . These platform charge are to cover any operational, infrastructure and third party costs.





Booking

How do I book my lessons?


Go to a teacher’s profile to book a lesson. You can search through their available times and select one that suits you. This can be a one-off booking or a repeating lesson slot.




Where do I see my booked lessons?


To see your current and previous lessons please go to the “My Lessons” page.




What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?


Lessons cancelled at least 24hrs before the time of lesson will not be charged. However, if cancelled within 24hrs of the lesson time, the full lesson fee will not be refunded.




How many lessons can I book?


You can book as many lessons as you like!




Can I book other teachers on YOUBRIO?


Yes, you can search for other teacher’s name using the search function to find one that is suitable for you. You can also filter through teachers using our Teacher Finder to find one that suits your requirements.




How do I connect with my own teacher?


To connect with your own teacher, you can either scan their QR code or directly search for their name to take you to their profile where you can book lessons.





Lesson

Can I see my teacher during YOUBRIO lessons?


Yes, YOUBRIO lessons are all video calls which allow the student and teacher to see each other.




When can I start my lessons upon booking?


You can enter the lesson room from 15 minutes before the booked lesson time.




What happens if the internet drops out?


If the internet drops out it will automatically try to reconnect. However, even if the call ends, you can still re-enter the lesson as long as it is within the lesson time.




What happens if the teacher doesn't show up?


Please contact us through our Help Desk via email or phone call and we will assess the situation and process a refund.




How do I finish the lesson?


Once you have completed the lesson you can simply end the call. Do not forget to leave the teacher a review and rating!




What happens if I forget the lesson?


Unfortunately, if you forget a booked class, this lesson fee will still have to be deducted. Make sure you have notifications turned on to allow lesson reminders!

What is the smartboard function?


The smartboard is an interactive learning space for teachers and students. You can upload documents and images to make markings on which can be seen by your teacher. This can also be a blank space which can be used to draw and take notes on.




How do I use the Smartboard?


The Smartboard can be accessed from the Home Page in ‘Resources’ or during a lesson. To upload content, press the + button.





Referral

How do I share my teacher with others?


To share a teacher with others, go to their teacher’s profile page and tap the share icon. This can be shared via message or posted onto social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or WeChat.




What is the YOUBRIO Referral Rewards Program?


By sharing the teacher’s profile with other users, you will receive 10% of the lesson fees for each successfully referred lesson as a referral reward. This reward is ongoing where all referred lessons conducted will receive the 10%, which will be deposited into your wallet. This is an optional reward, you can also choose to share teacher profiles without the referral program. Together, we can connect all students in need with the most suitable teacher for them!
